During manufacturing extra wide fabrics are folded four times under tension and can stretch out of shape. When you lay the fabric out flat you could find that it appears uneven or shorter on one side. Keep in mind it may also shrink if you prewash your fabric. We recommend you allow 25cm extra if you plan to trim it square
